Grimaldi Group has a new flagship ship. According to The Maritime Telegraph, the company just received MV Grande Pacifico. It is now the largest car-carrying ship (PCTC) in Grimaldi's fleet. The ship was built by China Merchants Heavy Industries Jiangsu. It is the first of five new sister ships.

The tug AOM 787 was towing an empty barge from the Anambas Islands to Serasan in Indonesia’s Riau Islands on 25 July. As the weather became worse, the crew released the tow in an attempt to improve the vessel’s stability, but the tug capsized around midday the following day.
MSC Group has taken delivery of MV Explora III, the third ship built for its luxury cruise brand Explora Journeys, The Maritime Telegraph reports. The vessel is the first ship with LNG propulsion in the company's six-ship series being built by Fincantieri.
