Odesa National Maritime Academy recently welcomed representatives of Alpha Navigation, including Julia Makarova and Victoria Chebatarova, for a meeting with the Academy’s leadership and members of the maritime industry.The discussion focused on the future of maritime education in Ukraine, cadet sea practice, and the importance of giving young seafarers real opportunities to begin their careers at sea.

On March 20, Alpha Navigation continued its long-standing commitment to engaging with young talent through an in-person session at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The company’s Founder and President, Bogdan Zelenski, met with students from various faculties to share insights into professional growth, leadership, and the demands of today’s global job market.

At Alpha Navigation, engaging with young professionals has become a tradition. Alpha Navigation had the pleasure of attending the Ukrainian Officer’s Forum 2025, hosted by Enesel Group in Bucharest on October 30–31.  The event brought together seafarers from both container and tanker fleets, providing an excellent platform for professional exchange and networking. 

 The Wallem Fleet Officers Meet 2025 took place in Bucharest, Romania, on October 27–28, bringing together officers and representatives from Wallem Group and its partners under the theme “Safety, Accountability, and Operational Success.” Alpha Navigation was glad to be part of this inspiring event dedicated to open dialogue, exchange of ideas, and recognition of professional excellence within the maritime community.

 At the end of October, Alpha Navigation’s Batumi office was pleased to welcome our long-standing partners from Interunity Management Corporation S.A. (Athens, Greece). We have been cooperating for five years, and it was truly inspiring to meet in person once again and discuss new horizons.

At the end of September, Alpha Navigation proudly took part in the annual Seaspan Forum 2025, hosted by our esteemed partner Seaspan Ship Management Ltd. The event took place in Bucharest, Romania, on September 29–30, gathering together Seaspan’s senior management, partners, and seafarers.

 On October 5th, Alpha Navigation proudly hosted the International Seafarer's Forum in Burgas, Bulgaria – a day that brought together maritime professionals, cadets, and future seafarers for connection, inspiration, and shared experience.The event featured a vibrant mix of activities: insightful industry talks, friendly football and tennis matches, and relaxed evening networking over well-earned cold drinks.

 On September 19, the National University “Odesa Maritime Academy” celebrated its annual Cadets’ Initiation Ceremony, officially welcoming the first-year students into the Academy family. For these young cadets, it was a moment to remember: putting on their uniforms for the first time, taking the Oath of Allegiance, and stepping confidently onto the path of a maritime career.

What an inspiring two days! The forum was not just another formal gathering, but a vibrant exchange of knowledge and experience. Seafarers from Alpha Navigation were actively engaged – bringing forward innovative ideas, fresh perspectives, and valuable suggestions on safety onboard. Their voices and participation reminded us once again that the heart of shipping is the people at sea.
