Celebrating maritime excellence: Seafarers' day 2026 in Batumi
On June 25th, the Maritime Transport Agency and Batumi State Maritime Academy co-organized a special Seafarers' Day celebration in Batumi, Georgia – uniting maritime professionals, cadets, and government officials to honor those who dedicate their lives to the sea.
The celebration brought together Georgia's President, government ministers from both Georgia and the Adjara region, and representatives from Batumi State Maritime Academy. Our Alpha Navigation team in Batumi was proud to join the gathering, sharing this meaningful moment with cadets and seafarers who represent the best of the maritime industry.
The day was filled with knowledge-sharing, networking, and inspiration. Industry leaders connected with young maritime professionals, while government representatives celebrated Georgia's rich maritime heritage and the exceptional seafarers who keep it alive.
