Alpha Navigation joins Swire Group Crew Safety and Engagement Forum

Alpha Navigation was happy to take part in the Crew Safety and Engagement Forum hosted by our partners, Swire Group, in Istanbul on September 8-9.

A large part of the forum was dedicated to important topics for the crew and the company’s future. Crew safety and working conditions on board were among the key topics, together with the acceptance of four new vessels and the cadet programme. The forum also covered the company’s strong financial performance and plans to increase the budget for provisions on board – something that has a direct impact on the daily life of seafarers.

One of the most special moments was the recognition of seafarers who have been part of the Swire team for many years. We were proud to see two of our seafarers receive awards for their long service:

Chief Engineer Yevgen Zemlyanykh – 10 years with Swire.
MST Pavlo Kostenko – 15 years with Swire.

For us, long-term cooperation like this means a lot. It shows the trust and strong working relationships built over the years between seafarers, shipowners and our team. Thank you to Swire Group for the warm welcome and for organising such a meaningful event. We are also very grateful to our seafarers for their hard work, commitment and trust.
