Alpha Navigation joins the First-Year Cadets’ Ceremony at the National University “Odesa Maritime Academy”

On September 18, the Alpha Navigation team attended the First-Year Cadets’ Ceremony at the National University “Odesa Maritime Academy” (NUOMA). This year, around 700 students have started their studies at the Academy, including about 500 first-year students and 200 master’s students.

The ceremony brought together students, university representatives and guests from the maritime industry. Among the invited guests was Serhii Hrynevetskyi, a Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, who addressed the new cadets with words of support and encouragement.

Stanislav Nezavitin, President of the Association of Marine Captains of Odesa (AMKO), also spoke to the first-year cadets and shared his wishes as they begin their maritime education and professional journey.

For us at Alpha Navigation, meeting the new generation of cadets is always special. Many of them will soon take their first steps on board and begin gaining the practical experience that will shape their future careers.

To all the new cadets: make the most of these years, stay curious, learn from every experience and keep moving forward even when the journey gets difficult. We hope that one day we will meet many of you again – first as cadets joining their vessels, and later as confident maritime professionals.
